Joohee Na is a visual communicator and scholar exploring the intersection of society, stories and culture to amplify diverse narratives.

Born in South Korea and based in New York, Joohee takes a dynamic approach to storytelling through a range of mediums including photography, journalistic writing, videography and social media marketing. Her research, authored both domestically and internationally, focuses on social issues that informs her visual work, deepening its impact and cultural relevance.

Joohee has worked for various companies such as USA Today, GNC, Turnberry Associates, NewsHouse and Orange Television Network. Her award-winning photography has been recognized by the Hearst Photojournalism II Competition and the Jeff Licata Photography Award and is also a recipient of the Lorraine Branham Scholarship.

Joohee is a graduate of Syracuse University, earning a dual degree in B.S. Photography from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and B.A. Sociology from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
